Hey fellow producers,
After 12 years of shooting commercials all across the inspired landscapes of Europe for magical clients like Coca-Cola, Bosch, Bayer, Zarina, Biocodex, Auchan, and others, we’ve landed with a new office in NYC and we are ready to make some noise.
To make this happen, we desperately need a local, super-experienced Freelance Producer who:
-
Knows how to handle clients (and actually communicate with them).
-
Crunches estimates at Schumacher speeds (we even have our own custom "race car" estimation tool for this).
-
Can organize any shoot up to a $300k budget and still come out in the green.
-
Knows exactly where to assemble a full crew by "tomorrow morning."
-
Has a rolodex full of killer Directors and DPs.
-
Is familiar with US union rules (SAG-AFTRA) – this is a big plus.
-
Has agency experience and understands that everything needs to be ready "yesterday."
-
Is a fun, cool, high-energy producer who loves the hustle and has an excessive sense of responsibility.
-
Solves problems quickly, sharply, and radically. Like James f*cking Bond.
We love people with fire in their eyes and a non-stop creative and organizational itch—people who love solving non-standard problems and creating something new. If that sounds like you, we’re going to get along just fine.
Here is how we see the first stage of our collaboration:
-
We get a brief from an agency/client and hand it to you for calculation.
-
You prepare the estimate VERY PROMPTLY. You assemble a pool of Directors and DPs (if needed).
-
Once the budget is approved, you produce the project from pre-pro all the way to delivering the final masters.
A few important notes:
Please, do not write those beautiful, generic GPT-style cover letters. Instead, just send your portfolio/reel and tell us a short story about your last shoot.
Sorry for this non-traditional job post. Also, full disclosure: We don’t have 401k, 402, or even 403 plans (honestly, retirement isn't really an option in this profession anyway, right?). We also do not sponsor visas because we are basically immigrants ourselves. And we don’t have a fancy office with cookies and beanbag chairs because we are fully remote in NYC.
If, despite all of that, you are ready to become part of our team and embark on an incredible advertising startup adventure, then smash that APPLY button.
